September 21, 2017: Sinya’s clinic gets solar power and a motorcycle!

With the fundraising support of UCU students, enough money was raised for Sauti Moja TZ to provide solar panels and a new motorcycle to a clinic in the remote village of Sinya.

October 17, 2013: Oltepesi Montessori school building opening!

With the amazing support and funding of an Ontario Rotarian Club, the young students of Oltepesi have moved from their temporary boma-like school construction to a solid cement building that will last for years and years to come.

The school has been named Osiligi Osipa, meaning Real Hope in KiMaasai, by the local community which is overjoyed to have their first permanent village structure. The village held a large ceremony to celebrate the school’s opening, here are some pictures!
